These homes will sale for approximately $126,000.00 and the US Government will guarantee the loans to the financial institutions. Based on gross income and the number of persons within the household, applicants may be entitled to zero down payment loans, low interest rates, lower closing costs, and guaranteed financing. Low to Moderate income households may also qualify for additional assistance including substantially reduced interest rates and ten year pay off programs.

Pro-Rated Taxes

Clark County has set in place an economic development tool to encourage growth within the County through a Pro-Rated Property Tax Program. Beginning in January of 2007, newly constructed homes that have applied for the program prior to the start of construction, will have the property taxes pro-rated over a ten year period.

- 1st yr property tax will be 0%
- 2nd yr property tax will be 10%
- 3rd yr property tax will be 20%
- 11th yr property tax will be 100%

The amount of tax savings will vary by home based on the appraised value.
