The WIT Athletic Sports Facility is a striking example of adaptive reuse and full-service design-build by Building Solutions. Located in Dodge City, Kansas, this 26,250-square-foot facility transforms a former bowling alley into a high-performance, modern athletic complex—conceived, designed, and constructed entirely by our in-house team.

The facility features a full suite of fitness and wellness amenities: a cardio platform, traditional gym, CrossFit space, plate-loaded and selectorized equipment zones, indoor batting cages, group fitness classrooms, and a dedicated Kidz Zone daycare. Spa-grade locker rooms include dry saunas and cryotherapy rooms with nitrogen freezing cabins that accommodate up to 10 users at a time. Six light-therapy/tanning rooms and a supplement bar round out the offerings, delivering a truly immersive fitness and recovery experience.
In addition to the athletic facility, the building includes two adjacent tenant spaces, each requiring careful coordination of new utilities, separate metering, and access planning. Navigating these systems within the constraints of the existing structure added another layer of complexity and precision to the project.
